Boney James Cambridge Concert reviews
Great Show plus Great Time
Overall, the performances were superb. Boney James opened with tracks from his initial album, followed by songs from his most recent release and a blend of tunes from various albums and popular hits. Chrisette Michele's performance was underwhelming as she only sang six songs to a sparse audience, with few familiar with her music. Common energized the crowd before Boney James took the stage, paying tribute to Three Six Mafia before his set. Common's set had a genuine hip-hop vibe, mixing in his own hits. "Pretty Wings" closed out the show. Despite the quality of the show, the reviewer expressed reservations about returning due to the high cost and seating arrangement, being seated seven rows back in folding chairs.
